How we work
We accompany people, institutions and place-based ecosystems through journeys co-designed around the challenges that matter most to them. Each journey follows the U — seeing the system, sensing from the whole, connecting to source, prototyping the new — and works on three shifts:
- Open mind: a shift in awareness — seeing the whole system, including our own part in it.
- Open heart: a shift in relationships — building the trust and care that let people meet across difference and act together.
- Open will: a shift in action — letting go of old patterns and turning what emerges into prototypes and strategies.
We work with love for the people and places we serve, and with the rigor of two decades of practice in regenerative agriculture, education, health, energy, finance, public service and philanthropy.
Rooted in a living ecosystem
Our partnerships draw on the whole Presencing Institute. u-research builds a consciousness-based systems science of social fields. u-school offers free and open learning, including u-lab, to 260,000+ changemakers in 186 countries. Together they form the infrastructure through which new practices spread.
Across the world, regenerative farms, reimagined schools, citizens' assemblies and mission-driven enterprises are small islands of coherence. When connected, they can shift a whole system. Part of our work is to make them visible, learn from them, and weave them together.
